Licensed interpreters must complete the required continuing education (CE) hours for each renewal period, including at least 2 hours in ethics and professionalism. Ethics and professionalism hours must be earned by attending an approved workshop dedicated to ethics and professionalism, as prescribed, administered, or authorized by the Committee.

Interpreters should retain copies of all materials submitted for their records. Incomplete requests may be returned or denied. Requests submitted more than 60 days after course completion will only be considered by the Committee for valid reasons.

Interpreters are encouraged to review available CE opportunities and verify that courses meet the Committee’s requirements before attending. Additional CE resources, approved programs, and related forms are available below.

How To Submit Continuing Education Documents

  1. Go to the Georgia Courts Registrar home page and log in using your username or email and password.
  2. Once logged in to the My Dashboard page and start the process by clicking on the “Events Center.”
  3. In the Events Center, locate and click the blue “Submit CE Hours For Approval” button.
  4. Fill in all the required information indicated by an asterisk.
  5. Select “Choose Document” to upload the necessary document from your device.
  6. Finally, click the “Submit” button to complete the submission process.
